50 small seeds per packet. A large Buddleja species that is native to the open woodlands, forest edges and stream banks of the central mountains of China. Seeds offered have been harvested from plants grown by us from seed collected by Bjørnar Olsen from Chongqing, China at 1700 metres. Plants produce sweetly fragrant, lilac flowers with a yellow eye, on long tapering panicles from July into September. Height 2.5 metres. Humus rich, well-draining soil in sun to part shade. Warm germinator. Do not cover the seeds with soil and keep the surface from drying out.
