Myrrhis odorata Sweet Cicely
15 large seeds per packet. A large, clump-forming, herbaceous, native UK perennial with attractive, ferny, green foliage and white flowers in April to June, that are followed by decorative, black seed pods. Both the foliage and the seedpods have an aniseed aroma. The plant has various culinary uses, the most common being to sweeten fruit (e.g. rhubarb). Height to 1m. Moist soil in part shade. Cold germinator.
