30 seeds per packet. The seeds we offer have been harvested from plants grown by us from seed collected by August Wu and Bjørnar Olsen in Xiling Xueshan, Chengdu, Sichuan, China at 1650 metres. A very lovely form of this clump-forming, woodland plant having soft, green leaves with attractive, dark veining and beautiful spikes of pink, star-shaped flowers. Flowering late spring to early summer. Height 50 cm. Moisture retentive, well-drained soil in part shade (woodland conditions are ideal). Sow spring or autumn in a cold frame. Germination can be erratic and takes 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the time of sowing.
