15 seeds per packet.
The seeds we offer have been harvested from plants grown by us from seed collected in Yunnan, China. A beautiful, perennial species unknown in cultivation, native to the grasslands on mountain slopes in China. It produces dissected, spikey leaves with white veining and extremely cobwebby stems with nodding pink and purple flower heads. Fantastic plant for bees and other insects. Flowering July to August. Height 1.5 metres. Sun in moisture retentive soil.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Can be sown from autumn to June. Cover seed thinly, press in gently and keep top of compost from drying out. Keep pot cool over winter. Keep warm at 15 to 20°C in spring until germination, then move to somewhere cooler.
Carefully prick out seedlings when they have developed true leaves and are large enough to transplant to individual pots to grow on.
