Geranium dahuricum W/O-9125
8 seeds per packet.
The seeds we offer have been harvested from plants grown by us from seeds collected by August Wu and Bjørnar Olsen in Sichuan, China. Last year this Geranium species was still an unknown species and we previously sold this as having an affinity to G. donianum / stapfianum. However, this year our older plants have grown very distinctive to be able to identify it correctly as Geranium dahuricum. Produces dissected foliage and good sized, pink flowers, veined in darker pink with a distinctive reddish stigma. Flowering June to August. Height 15 cm. Moisture retentive, well-drained soil in sun or part shade.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Can be sown from autumn to June. Cover seed thinly, press in gently and keep top of compost from drying out. Keep pot cool over winter. Keep warm at 15 to 20°C in spring until germination, then move to somewhere cooler.
Carefully prick out seedlings when they have developed true leaves and are large enough to transplant to individual pots to grow on.
