We have good numbers of most plants but, as we grow everything from scratch ourselves, some plants are very limited in number. Once a plant is marked as ‘Sold Out’ it will not be back up for sale this year.
Our delivery rate for all orders is a special flat rate of £7.99 (no matter how big or small your order). Please make sure you have everything you want in your cart as, once you have paid for your order, we cannot combine additional orders into one parcel and refund shipping charges - it can cause confusion, and it costs us time and money to refund your card.
Seeds can be combined in any plant order as long as they are ordered at the same time. Plant orders will be sent by Royal Mail 24 hour tracked service. We aim to dispatch plant orders within 1 week, weather permitting.
The plant's previous year's growth will be trimmed back to allow it to be posted safely. Potted plants are removed from their plastic pots before sending and sent inside biodegradable bags. Bare root plants are packed in damp tissue or a little peat-free compost and sealed inside biodegradable bags. All our packaging materials are fully recyclable.
We cannot hold back orders as bare rooted plants are coming into growth and need to be posted. We advise that plants are unpacked and potted up immediately on receipt, then kept in a frost free place until all frosts have passed before planting out.
All the plants we offer here have proven to be hardy here in rural, southern Scotland.
