Clematis connata W/O-7066
The plants we offer have been grown by us from seed collected by August Wu and Bjørnar Olsen in Sichuan, China at 2450 metres. A vigorous climber that is native to the forests and mountain slopes of China, Bhutan, northern India, Kashmir, Nepal, northern Pakistan and Sikkim. Produces delicate, nodding, paleyellow, bell-shaped, fragrant flowers with recurved sepals. This Clematis is distinguished by the leaf-pairs on the plant which form thick, disc-like collars around the stems. Flowering September to November. Height 4 to 7 metres. Humus rich, well-drained soil in part sun to part shade.
