Begonia x chungii DJHT 99168
A natural hybrid between B. palmata and B. longifolia found in 1999 by Dan Hinkley in Taipingshan, Taiwan. Produces narrowly-lobed, pointed leaves and small, light pink flowers. Height 30 cm. Full to part shade in a cool, sheltered position in moist, humus rich, well-drained soil. Not tested for hardiness, though it could be hardy to -5 C, so we would suggest growing it as a potted specimen in the garden and bringing it in before the first frosts.
