Begonia aff. sinensis BWJ8133 x 6 Bulbils
Price is for six small bulbils. A hardy, tuberous, woodland species from China collected by Bleddyn Wynn-Jones that produces light green leaves with green undersides and pendulous pink flowers. The leaves of this species are more angular than Begonia grandis, which it closely resembles. The plant’s stems produce bulbils in the autumn, these fall to the ground to produce new plants. Comes into growth quite late in the season. Flowering July into autumn. Height 50 cm. Full to part shade in a sheltered position in moist, humus rich, well-draining soil with a winter mulch.
Bulbils are sown as you would do with seeds and these will freely germinate in late spring after a cold period.
PLEASE NOTE WE CAN ONLY SHIP THESE LIVE BULBILS TO COUNTRIES WITHIN EUROPE. SORRY BUT ANY ORDER MADE OUTSIDE EUROPE WILL BE REFUNDED.
