An upright species with an affinity to S. nubicola with large, aromatic, arrowhead shaped leaves and spikes of large, pale yellow flowers veined in maroon from August into October. Seeds have been harvested from plants grown by us from The Himalayan Plant Association seed exchange. Height 100 cm. Well-drained, humus rich soil in sun to part shade. Warm germinator.
