4 large, blue seeds per packet. A rarely offered species of Paeonia that is native to the mountains and forests of China and Japan. Produces attractive foliage and beautiful, large, single, pure white flowers with yellow stamens and purple filaments, followed by stunning seed pods. Flowering May. Height 100 cm. Moist, well-drained soil in part shade (woodland conditions are ideal). Seeds can be very slow to germinate. Very limited number ofpackets available.
