Euonymus cornutus var. quinquecornutus Five-Horned Spindleberry
6 seeds per packet. A delightful, small shrub that is native to China and rare in cultivation. Produces narrow, dark green foliage and purple-green flowers that hang from thread-like stems. In late summer into autumn colourful fruits reminiscent of jester's caps split open to reveal bright orange seed. Flowering May to June. Height 1.8 metres. Part shade in moisture retentive but well draining soil. Cold germinator. Can be slow to germinate.
