40 small seeds per packet. A large Buddleja species that is native to the open woodlands, forest edges and stream banks of the central mountains of China. Seeds have been harvested from plants grown by us from seed collected by Bjørnar Olsen in Chongqing, China at 1700 metres. Plants produce sweetly fragrant, pale lilac flowers with a pale yellow eyeon long tapering panicles from July into September. Height 2.5 metres. Humus rich, well-draining soil in sun to part shade. Warm germinator. Do not cover the seeds with soil and keep the surface from drying out.
