5 large blue seeds per packet. A species of Paeonia that is native to the mountains and forests of central China. Produces attractive foliage and beautifully fragrant, large, single, rich, pink flowers with yellow stamens, followed by stunning seed pods. Flowering April to May. Height 100 cm. Moist, well-drained soil in part shade (woodland conditions are ideal). Seeds can be very slow to germinate.
