15 seeds per packet. Native to northeastern China and eastern Russia and found in moist soil near ponds and lakes, this species is very rare in cultivation. It is very similar to the European species I. pseudacorus but smaller in all respects. It is a vigorous species with creeping rhizomes and sword-shaped, grey-green leaves (45 cm long). It has many branched, flowering stems that carry flowers in May and come in various shades of yellow. Moist soil in full sun. Cold germinator.
