Saussurea aff. superba
A Saussurea species with an affinity to superba, grown from seeds originally collected by Vojtech Holubec in the Himalayas. A perennial species in the Asteraceae family that produces rosettes of hairy leaves and attractive, purple, thistle-like flowers in summer. Height 30 cm. Sun in moisture retentive but well-draining soil. Please note Saussurea can be difficult plants to cultivate and we do not recommended them for beginners.
