A form with an erect habit collected by James Compton in China. Produces dramatic, large, olive-green, shiny leaves and dark chocolate, chevron markings. Clusters of small, red flowers on thin spikes from late summer into autumn. Height 90 cm. Average to moist, well-drained soil in part to full shade.
