A rarely grown, perennial species from South Africa in the Asteraceae family. Produces clumps of deep green, spikey foliage that are felted underneath and large, pale yellow, daisy flowers. Fantastic plant for bees and other insects. Flowering June to September. Height 50 cm. Very well-draining soil in sun to light shade with protection in winter. Hardy to -5 C.
