Achlys japonica AVAILABLE SPRING 2018
A beautiful, herbaceous perennial of the woodlands of Japan in the Berberaceae family. Produces attractive, three-part leaves and slender spikes of small white flowers that sit above the foliage. As it is a rhizomatous species it will form slow spreading clumps. Flowering April to June. Height 30 cm. Part shade in moist, humus rich, well-draining soil.
