5 seeds per packet. A high altitude, epiphytic species collected by Daniel Hinkley from Vietnam. Produces arching, evergreen, purple-red stems and beautiful, purple foliage when young with small, nodding, purple-green flower bells which are borne in clusters at each leaf axil in late spring to summer, followed by red berries in autumn to spring. Height 40 cm. Part to full shade. Hardy to -5C to -8C so therefore best grown in a pot so it can be protected over winter in colder climates. Provide the pot with plenty of drainage. Cold germinator.
