Podophyllum hexandrum Himalayan Mayapple
12 large seeds per packet. Native to the edges of woodlands in the Himalayas and Western China. The form offered has pink flowers that face upwards in May to June and has deeply divided, marbled brown and green, umbrella-shaped leaves. The plant produces large attractive red fruits towards August (these should not be eaten as they are toxic). Height to 40 cm. Cool leafy soil in part shade. Cold germinator.
