Rheum alexandrae SOLD OUT
A highly attractive and rare ornamental rhubarb that is native to the mountain meadows of China and Tibet. Produces distinctive oblong, glossy basal leaves and spires of overlapping, creamy-yellow bracts up to 90 cm (which protect the flowers underneath). Flowering May to June. Moist, humus rich, well-drained soil in sun to semi shade with plenty of space and deep soil to grow well.
