A robust perennial that is native to the forest margins of S.E Tibet and N. Nepal. Produces a rosette of large, broad, glossy leaves and dense clusters of large, upright, short-stemmed, greenish-white, trumpet shaped flowers from late summer into autumn. Height 60 to 90 cm. Moist, humus rich, well-drained soil in part sun to part shade.
