A very rare, hardy, herbaceous member of the Gesneriaceae family. This collection of Patrick Blanc comes from the mountains of Taiwan. Produces light green, glossy foliage, stems mottled in purple and tubular white flowers with purple spotting inside. Flowering September to October. Height 90 cm. Part to full shade in a sheltered position in humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil. Hardy to -10 C.
