An unknown, evergreen, woodland species in the Convallariaceae family that originated from a Japanese nursery (probably collected from China). Produces curved, mottled, purple stems from creeping rhizomes, glossy foliage and scented creamy white flowers that are purple and yellow within, which are followed by purple berries. Flowering May to June. Height 40 cm. Moist, well-drained, leafy soil in part to full shade.
