Begonia pedatifida SOLD OUT
1 packet of approximately 100+, naturally small, hand pollinated, fresh seeds. A hardy, clump-forming, rhizomatous perennial species from the forests of China, producing dramatic, deeply-lobed foliage and, in this form, red petioles with clusters of large, white flowers. Part shade in a sheltered position in moist, humus rich, very well draining soil. This plant is one of the hardest species for the garden, although a winter mulch is recommended. Before purchasing, please do an internet search for instructions on how to grow Begonias from seed as, due to their size, they may be difficult to grow for inexperienced gardeners (and instructions will not be sent).
