Glaucidium palmatum Japanese Wood Poppy
10 seeds per packet. A beautiful plant and member of the poppy family, still rare in cultivation and endemic to northern and eastern Japan. Produces very attractive, deeply lobed leaves up to 20 cm wide and bearing, in May, exquisite, saucer-shaped, poppy-like flowers up 10 cm wide, which are a delicate lilac-mauve in colour. Height up to 60 cm. Part to full shade in moist, humus rich well-draining soil. Germinates after a period of warm, followed by cold, then warm again.
