A lovely, perennial plant that is native to the mountain grasslands of NW Yunnan, China. Rosettes of long, strap-like, succulent foliage and stems carry sprays of bright purple-pink flowers. Flowering May to June. Height 80 cm. Sun to part shade in moist but well-drained soil.
