Vincetoxicum amplexicaule (Cynanchum amplexicaule) Chinese Swallow Wort
A perennial plant, rare in cultivation, that is native to the mountain slopes and grasslands of China, Japan and Korea (in China it is widely used in traditional medicine). Arching stems of narrow leaves and red-brown, starry flowers. Height 100 cm. Sun to part shade in humus rich, well-drained soil.
