A collection from Sichuan, China by Bleddyn Wynn-Jones and Daniel Hinkley. Rarely seen in cultivation is this stunning trailing species (that can root at nodes), which has soft palmate leaves and pairs of white flowers, gracefully held on erect stems above the foliage, with intricate, purple veining and a contrasting black stamen and anthers. Flowering July into winter. Height 30cm. Moisture retentive soil in sun to part shade.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Can be sown from autumn to June. Cover seed thinly, press in gently and keep top of compost from drying out. Keep pot cool over winter. Keep warm at 15 to 20°C in spring until germination, then move to somewhere cooler.
Carefully prick out seedlings when they have developed true leaves and are large enough to transplant to individual pots to grow on.
