An elegant, woodland perennial of western North America. Produces clumps of dainty, ferny foliage and drooping stems carrying pinky-purple flowers in April to June. Height 45 cm. Part shade in humus rich, moist, well-drained soil.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Sow immediately upon receipt no matter the time of the year. Cover seed thinly, press in gently and keep top of compost from drying out. Keep pot outdoors or in cold frame. Seeds germinate in spring.
Carefully prick out seedlings when they have developed true leaves and are large enough to transplant to individual pots for growing on.
