A diminutive form of Reineckea carnea with wider and considerably shorter foliage, collected by Kelly Dodson & Sue Milliken from the summit of Jinfoshan, China. Like other forms of R. carnea it is evergreen and produces small, starry, pink and white flower spikes held on maroon-red stems from July to August. Forms a tight clump of foliage from slowly creeping rhizomes. Height 10 cm. Well-drained, moisture retentive soil in part to full shade.
