A robust, clump-forming perennial collected from Lachen Valley, Eastern Sikkim at 3100m by Sally Goddard, Bleddyn & Sue Wynn-Jones. Produces a large, basal rosette of heart-shaped, roughly textured leaves and upright spikes of bright yellow and purple tinged flowers from July into September. Fantastic plant for bees and other insects. Height 100 cm. Well-drained, humus rich soil in full sun to part shade.
