Cirsium japonicum No-Azami, Japanese Thistle
20 seeds per packet. This species is native to the sunny slopes of central and southern Japan and is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and medicine. It forms clumps of thick, dissected, softly spined leaves and, from August to September, purple-pink flowers held on erect stems. Fantastic plant for bees and other insects. Height 90 cm. Sun in moisture retentive soil. Warm germinator.
