An unknown, hardy species of Strobilanthes collected in the mountains of Baoxing in Sichuan, China by Cedric Basset. A bushy, shrubby, perennial species with grey-green leaves (that turn a beautiful colour in late autumn) and a succession of tubular, purple-blue flowers held on erect stems in late summer into autumn. Height 60 cm. Part shade in humus rich, well-drained soil.
