The plants we offer have been grown by us from seed collected by August Wu and Bjørnar Olsen in China. A bushy, shrubby, perennial species in the Fabaceae family that is native to China and Japan, which produces long racemes of pale yellow flowers followed by clusters of seedpods. The plant is used in traditional Chinese medicine. Flowering June to July. Height 1.5 metres. A sunny, warm, sheltered position in well-drained soil.
