Collected in Sichuan, China by Mikinori Ogisu and a rare species in cultivation. A clump-forming, dwarf, perennial (evergreen in warmer climates) with broad, matt leaves with dainty, black spotting and golden yellow flowers that appear in the centre of the foliage in late summer to autumn. Height 30 cm. Humus rich, well-drained, moisture retentive soil in part to full shade.
