Clematis apiifolia ‘Hakikomi Fu’
A Japanese selection of the species with variegated, white, green and yellow leaves. A vigorous, deciduous, woody climber native to China, Japan and Korea, growing to 5 metres, that produces slender stems, mostly trifoliolate leaves and masses of small, white flowers in summer, followed by ornamental, silky seed heads. Flowering August into late September. Humus rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.
