An unknown variety of Arctium (Burdock) from Asia that produces tender, edible leaves, which are not bitter and can be eaten raw or cooked. Produces attractive, softly spikey, magenta and white, thistle-like florets on tall upright stems. The leaves have a characteristic sharply dentate edge. Fantastic plant for insects. Flowering August to September. Height 1.5 metres. Sun to part shade in well-drained, moisture retentive soil.
