An unknown variety of Arctium (Burdock) from Asia that produces tender, edible leaves, which are not bitter and can be eaten raw or cooked. Produces attractive, softly-spikey, magenta and white, thistle-like florets on tall upright stems. The leaves have a characteristic sharply dentate edge. Fantastic plant for insects. Flowering August to September. Height 1.5 metres. Sun to part shade in well-drained, moisture retentive soil.
