Clinopodium chinense var. parviflorum Kuruma-bana
20 seeds per packet. A rarely cultivated, perennial herb in the Lamiaceae family that is native to woodland edges and sunny grasslands throughout Japan and the Korean Peninsula. The whole plant is used in traditional medicine. The rose-pink flowers cover the tips of the stems or petioles of the leaves and resemble wheels, hence the Japanese name Kuruma-bana which literally means wheel flower. Flowering July to late September. Height 20 to 80 cm. Moisture retentive, well-drained soil in sun to dappled shade. Warm germinator. Do not cover small seeds with soil.
