6 seeds per packet. Probably a new undescribed species of Salvia collected from the Singalila Ridge near Darjeeling Northern India at 3175m by Sally Goddard, Bleddyn & Sue Wynn-Jones. A robust perennial, producing upright spikes of large, purple flowers, marked with white on the lips and showy, dark purple bracts. Flowering June to August. Height 100 cm. Fantastic plant for bees and other insects. Well-drained, humus rich soil in part sun to part shade. Warm germinator.
