A form of B. palmata collected by Cedric Basset and Marion Lennoz from the mountains of central Taiwan. Produces green, glossy foliage on erect stems and pale pink flowers in the autumn. Height 60 cm. Part to full shade in a cool, sheltered position in moist, humus rich, well-drained soil. This plant has been reported to be hardy to -6C to -8C, though we would recommend keeping your plant potted and totally frost free in colder climates and keeping it indoors or in a greenhouse to overwinter.
