Actaea japonica 'Cheju Do'
This is a more compact form of the species introduced by Darrell Probst from Cheju Island in South Korea. Produces glossy, divided leaves and beautiful spikes of white, bottlebrush flowers that insects find irresistible. Flowering late summer into autumn. Height 30 to 60 cm. Moisture retentive, well drained soil in part shade (woodland conditions are ideal). Cold germinator.
