Begonia taliensis W/O-8043
The plants we offer have been grown by us from seed collected by August Wu and Bjørnar Olsen in Heqing, Longkaikou, Yunnan at 2280 metres. A spectacular, tuberous species with black, green and silver patterned, palmate foliage and pink flowers. Flowering September to November. Height up to 35cm. The plant emerges late from June. Requires a sheltered, woodland-type situation in well-drained, moisture retentive soil (keep drier in winter). This species has proven fully hardy in the south of England but we would recommend it is protected from frost in other areas.
