Angelica archangelica subsp. decurrens from Kazakhstan
The plants we offer have been grown by us from seed collected from Kyrgauldy, Kazakhstan. A monocarpic species that is native to the forests, shrubby thickets, ravines, river banks and damp areas of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Russia (Siberia). Produces divided leaves and large, rounded umbels of white flowers on thick, tall stems in July to August. Fantastic plant for bees and other insects. Height 1.5 metres. Moist, well-drained soil in sun to part shade.
