Salvia campanulata CC
Plants have been grown by us from Chris Chadwell expedition seed. A robust, clump-forming perennial that is native to forest margins, forests, hillsides and valleys of central China and the Himalayas. Produces a large, basal rosette of heart-shaped, roughly textured leaves and upright spikes of large, bright yellow flowers from July into September. Fantastic plant for bees and other insects. Height 100 cm. Well-drained, humus rich soil in full sun to part shade.
