A tiny and very cute form of the species collected from Japan. An evergreen species with rosettes of small, fleshy, green leaves, overlaid slightly with silver on the younger leaves and spikes of starry-shaped, white flowers in late summer to autumn. Plants spread forming carpets from rooting runners. Height 10 cm. Moist, well-drained soil in part to full shade. Perfect for a spot in a shady rock or woodland garden, or in a pot.
