A collection from the mountains of Taiwan by Cedric and Marion Basset. A lovely foliage plant that produces clumps of erect, succulent red stems (in this form), glossy, veined, bright green leaves and white panicles of tiny, white flowers from the top of the leaf axils in autumn. A member of the Urticaceae family that does not sting. Height 10 to 20 cm. Moist, humus rich soil in part to full shade. Hardy to -10 C.
