Hieracium spilopaeum Spotted Hawkweed
An unusual, variegated form of the species native to Europe. Produces clumping rosettes of highly attractive, maroon-purple and blue-green spotted leaves, with tall, erect stems, carrying yellow, daisy-like flowers from May into September. A great plant for bees and butterflies. Height 45 cm. Moisture retentive, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.
